Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Sales Executive – Jewellery to join our retail sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of jewellery products, excellent selling and communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, assisting customers with jewellery selection, generating repeat business, and delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and engage customers professionally, understand their requirements, and provide personalized jewellery recommendations.
Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of gold, diamond, platinum, gemstone, and bridal jewellery.
Explain product specifications, designs, quality, pricing, making charges, certifications, and other relevant details to customers.
Handle high-value customer interactions and provide a premium showroom experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Generate repeat business through regular customer follow-ups and relationship management.
Handle customer enquiries, negotiations, objections, and closing of sales effectively.
Maintain an updated database of customers and follow up on leads, enquiries, and appointments.
Support bridal and occasion-based jewellery sales by understanding customer preferences and budgets.
Coordinate with the billing, inventory, repair, and management teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer service.
Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining an attractive and organized showroom.
Stay updated on jewellery trends, new collections, market developments, and competitor offerings.
Ensure compliance with company policies relating to billing, discounts, inventory, security, and customer service.
Participate in promotional events, exhibitions, customer engagement activities, and sales campaigns.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism, grooming, and customer etiquette.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
3–7 years of relevant jewellery sales experience.
Strong knowledge of jewellery products, especially gold and diamonds.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong customer relationship management and follow-up abilities.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Ability to handle premium and high-net-worth customers professionally.
Good understanding of jewellery pricing, making charges, discounts, and basic product specifications.
Strong persuasion and closing skills.
Comfortable working in a target-driven retail environment.
Professional appearance and excellent customer-handling skills.
